The Intel® Entry Server Chassis SC5250-E lets you meet many customer needs ranging from file and print for SMB to work station requirements with one chassis. The Server Chassis SC5250-E supports Intel Server Boards SE7505VB2, SE7501BR2, S845WD1-E, and SE7500CW2 with dual Intel® Xeon(tm) processors., pedestal configuration, single 450W power supply, and different drive configurations
From the emerging e-Business to the active enterprise department, powerful, high-value
servers form the backbone of a successful operation. With the Intel Entry Server
Chassis SC5250-E, you can give your customers the cost-effective performance
advantages of dual Intel Xeon processors and the flexibility of a fixed drive-bay
configuration fully upgradable to hot-swap SCSI or hot-swap Serial ATA (SATA).
Easy Accessibility and Low-Cost Maintenance
The Intel Entry Server Chassis SC5250-E is easy to access so businesses can upgrade and maintain their server systems easily and with minimal downtime. With four fixed drive bays and up to five hot-swap SCSI or four hot-swap SATA hard-drive bays with the upgrade kit, the Server Chassis SC5250-E can be enhanced with additional storage without having to be taken offline. Expansion cards can be added in moments thanks to the tool-free access enabled by thumb screws on side panels. And operators can be made aware of problems while they can still be solved easily with the help of fully integrated Intel® Server Management capabilities.
